I attended Santa Monica City College for 2 years which then lead to my working in a dental office. It was there that I met my husband and after a courtship of 2 months we were married in 1968. I think the key to a successful marriage is to be flexible and "go with the flow". My most memorable moment was the adoption of our daughter in 1975, it still brings tears to my eyes when we discuss this with friends. She has one child and now a grandchild, making me a great-grandmother(which I can hardly believe myself).
After retiring we discovered the thrill of travel in Europe. Our fun used to be skiing and bicycling which put us in shape to take long bike trips in Vermont.
When my husband retired from teaching at Palisades High School we decided that life held another adventure for us so we moved to Hayden Lake, Idaho in 1996 as we wanted to experience 4 seasons and enjoyed skiing.
I hope to attend the reunion but it all depends upon the coronavirus and the vaccine. So we shall wait and see.
